Dr. Kakoli Lahkar is a highly accomplished Senior Consultant in Medical Oncology and Hemato-oncology with over 12 years of experience in comprehensive cancer care. She completed her DM in Medical Oncology from the prestigious Cancer Institute (WIA), Adyar, Chennai, and underwent advanced training in Bone Marrow Transplantation at Hammersmith Hospital, Imperial College London, UK.
Dr. Kakoli has extensive experience in treating a wide spectrum of solid tumors such as breast, ovarian, lung, colorectal, and head & neck cancers, as well as hematological malignancies including leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. Her clinical expertise spans across conventional chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, targeted and biological therapy, immunotherapy, and blood and marrow transplant, alongside a strong focus on pain management and palliative care.
A passionate academician, Dr. Kakoli has served as a teaching faculty for DrNB (Medical Oncology) at Manipal Hospital, Bengaluru. She has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and remains actively engaged in oncology research and education.
