IMPORTANT GUIDELINES FOR PATIENT & ATTENDANTS

** Kindly adhere to visitor’s policy to minimize the inconvenience to patients. Only 1 attendee is allowed at a time.

Admission
  • Patients are admitted on recommendation by Emergency Medical Officer/Registered Clinical Consultant’s reference on emergency/elective basis.
  • The deposit amount will vary depending upon the type of accommodation/Bed Category can be selected at the time of Admission at the admission counter.
  • In the event of an emergency, the deposit amount must be paid immediately on admission as per hospital policy.
  • ** Foreign nationals/NRI ,it is mandatory to produce Passport & Visa/PIO

General Instructions - Patient Care:
  • Mandatory for inpatients to wear the patient uniform provided by hospital for identification from all staff to extend privileged patient care.
  • Kindly keep your belongings safe and do not wear any during your stay. Different department people will be visiting your rooms to know about your stay and assist . Kindly handover all jewellery to your attendee before you are hospitalized and keep your belongings safe, we advise not to wear or carry any jewelry.
  • In-Patient services team and staff shall be interacting with you regularly to make your stay hassle-free and better care , we request you kindly cooperate with us to ensure this.
  • Outside food for patients is strictly prohibited . The food will be served in-house prepared in the hospital ,under the supervision of experienced dietitians.
  • During discharge, please keep all medicines organized and request you to give a sign off that no medicines are available to return at the pharmacy.
  • Residual medications will be returned to the pharmacy. We ask that you check this and report these medicines to a nurse.
  • If the patient has any insurance coverage, then the process for final claim approval post preparing the discharge summary will be decided based on the Insurance approving Company. This will be explained to you by the In-Patient services team. Please visit the billing desk at hospital for cash and credit discharge TAT.
  • Any point in time during the stay ,If you wish to change your room or upgrade to a higher room, then the charges shall be applied as per the higher category room and as per availability.For further assistance shall meet admission desk for needful.
  • We appreciate testimonials and appreciation for the concerned personnel whom you were happy with so the hospital shall felicitate the recommended personnel. Kindly request you not to tip anyone at the hospital during your stay.
  • No act of violence will be tolerated during your stay, and we ask that you notify the in-patient welfare department if you find any staff to be rude or has not responded, or if you are experiencing any other grievance.

  • After the appointment is confirmed kindly be present 15 minutes prior to your appointment timing. Sometimes there might be a slight delay in consulting the doctor for given appointment timing, due to unseen emergencies that a doctors may need to attend - kindly be patient with us.
  • We also accommodate patients who come without booking an appointment ( walk in patients during OPD Hours ) however they may have a longer waiting time.
  • **It’s always advisable to book a prior appointment.
Billing:
  • Billing is handled in each of the respective OPDs.
  • The patient is directed to the appropriate department for any further investigations.
  • Billing for investigations is handled at the department's billing counter.
  • Cash, credit card, and debit card payments are all accepted.
  • ** Listed and Eligible Insurance companies and apartment/associations to be enquired at the billing desk
Discharge:
  • The patient will be discharged once the doctor in charge authorizes the discharge.
  • Depending on the type of payment clearance (Cash/ Insurance/corporate credit) we try our best to ease the discharge process . In case of Insurance which may take longer, than the cash discharge request co-operation.
  • Discharge process involves multiple department clearances upon which final intimation is given to billing team for final clearance.
Guidelines:
  • The hospital serves well-balanced meals supervised by experienced dietitians. We strictly do not allow outside food for Patients.
  • Smoking, consumption of alcohol is not permitted within the hospital premises.
  • Mobile phones are not permitted in restricted areas of the hospital.All medicines, consumables etc for the patient will be provided by the hospital, no outside medicine or consumables are permitted to be brought.
  • Patients are advised not to carry cash or wear or keep any jewellery during their hospitalization. The hospital is not responsible for any kind of loss.
