Dr. Gauri Shankar Akula completed his MBBS from Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai and subsequently his MS in General Surgery from Topiwala National Medical College and BYL Nair Hospital, Mumbai. He then specialised in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery from the reputed Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Group of Hospitals in Mumbai . Following his specialization, he went on to pursue a Fellowship in Reconstructive Surgery at St. Andrew’s Centre for Burns and Plastic Surgery, Chelmsford, United Kingdom.
