Brief Profile
Dr. Sanhitha Purushotham is a Urologist with training in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of urological conditions. She completed her MCh in Urology from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, KAHER University, Belagavi, following her MS in General Surgery from JSS Medical College, Mysuru. Her clinical training includes Endourology, Uro-Oncology, Female and Functional Urology, Reconstructive Urology, and Renal Transplantation. She has experience with open and minimally invasive urological procedures and emergency urological care.
Dr. Sanhitha has a strong interest in advancing her surgical skills and contributing to urological research. Her academic achievements include award-winning paper, poster, and video presentations at national and regional conferences. Her research interests include prostate cancer, kidney stone management, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and reconstructive urology. She is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care supported by evidence-based clinical practice.
