Kauvery Hospitals, Bengaluru, proudly launched ‘Kauvery Sankalpa – A Robotic Joint Assure Program’ on March 27, 2025—an initiative that aims to provide 100 free robotic knee replacement surgeries for economically deserving farmers across Karnataka. The announcement was made in the presence of Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture, Shri N. Cheluvarayaswamy and K.N. Rajanna, and senior leadership from Kauvery Hospitals Bangalore.
Why Kauvery Sankalpa?
Farmers are the backbone of our nation, but years of hard physical labor—bending, kneeling, and standing for long hours in fields—take a toll on their joints, often leading to severe osteoarthritis. Without access to timely and advanced healthcare, these joint issues can become debilitating, affecting not only their mobility but also their livelihood and quality of life.
Kauvery Sankalpa was created to restore mobility, productivity, and dignity for such farmers through world-class robotic knee replacement surgeries. Each surgery, valued at ₹3.5 to ₹4 lakh, will be offered completely free of cost through partnerships with corporate CSR donors and private philanthropists.
